Convergys Appoints Hanumant Talwar Country Manager for its Customer Management Operations in India

(New Delhi; July 21, 2010) - Convergys Corporation (NYSE: CVG), a global leader in relationship management, announces the appointment of Hanumant Talwar as country manager for Convergys’ customer management operations in India, effective immediately.

As Country Manager, Talwar is responsible for executing against our growth plans for India, and overseeing the operations within Convergys’ seven contact centers and nearly 10,000 customer management employees in India. Talwar served previously as Vice President and Head of Operations for Convergys in India and assumes the Country Manager role from Sukant Srivastava, who will now head global operations for Convergys’ technology clients.

Prior to his current appointment, Talwar served as executive vice president of the sales and marketing, and operations divisions within Hirco Developments and the Zenta Group respectively, both of the Hirandandi Group.  Previously, he held leadership positions with GE Capital International Services, ExlServices.com, and American Express.
